POV alternative
Chivent vs POV. Videos, a photo wall and unlimited guests, at one price.
POV turns guests' phones into disposable cameras, with a set number of shots and a reveal. Chivent is an album: guests add the photos and videos they already have, in original quality, and they appear on a live photo wall. POV charges by guest count, from free for 10 to $89.99 for 250; Chivent charges once for unlimited guests, from $19.
7 days, 20 photos and videos, no card. Facts about POV from its own website, checked 2 November 2026.

Which one fits your event?
POV is a good choice if
- You love the disposable-camera idea: limited shots, and a reveal after the party.
- Your event is small: up to 10 guests is free.
- You want the photos to stay in the gallery with no end date.
Chivent is the better fit if
- You want videos as well as photos, in original quality.
- You want a live photo wall at a wedding or party, not only at business events.
- Your guest list is long: Chivent's price doesn't grow with it.
- You're outside the US: POV's privacy policy says its service is intended for visitors in the United States.
- You want a 14-day money-back guarantee; POV's fees are non-refundable.
Chivent or POV?
Is Chivent a good alternative to POV?
Yes, if you want an album rather than a camera. With Chivent, guests share the photos and videos already on their phones, in original quality, onto a live photo wall, and the price doesn't depend on how many guests come.
Does POV collect videos?
POV's website and app listings describe photos only and don't mention video. Chivent takes photos and videos, up to 3 GB per file.
How much does POV cost for a wedding?
It depends on the guest count: $34.99 for 100 guests, $64.99 for 175 and $89.99 for 250 on personal events. Chivent's price doesn't depend on guests: from $19 once, and $49 for 12 months of unlimited uploads.
Do guests need to download the POV app?
No. On iPhone it opens as an App Clip and on Android in the browser, but the host creates personal events in POV's app. With Chivent, guests and hosts both use the browser.
